Nowadays,GIS is widely used in the fields of high-pressure,extra-high pressure and extra-high voltage.GIS is attracting attention not only because of its compact structure and small footprint,but also flexible in its configuration and high reliability.And,its safety and environmental adaptability are also very strong.However,the intensity of the electric field inside the GIS is very large.Once the device has some defects,the partial discharge phenomenon will occur.The PD will lead to GIS equipment insulation degradation.In this paper,UHF and ultrasonic methods are used to locate the PD.Firstly,UHF method is used to rough locate the location of the PD source,and then UHF and ultrasonic are used to carry out accurate Positioning,or use multiple AE sensors to accurately locate the PD source and improve the defect location efficiency.The device of detecting the partial discharge signal of GIS by the electro-acoustic method is studied,and it is based on the virtual instrument.In the detection,obtain UHF data,high-frequency current data and AE data generated by PD signal.Compared and analyzed the three kinds of data obtained above,which can effectively eliminate the interference signals in the GIS,and improve the accuracy of PD location and the accuracy of defect type identification.The PD detection device proposed in this paper is adopted to detect and locate the internal defects of the GIS in Qin Huangdao.According to the detection result,the hidden trouble of the defect is eliminated in time.This ensures the safe and stable operation of GIS equipment.
