Abstract/Summary:
Along with the strong support of the PV market, China’s photovoltaic industry presents vitality. However, the traditional photovoltaic equipment is installed with a fixed angle, which is the local optimum angle, but the installation doesn’t have a function on tracking the sun and results in a reduction in the amount of photovoltaic power generation. Although the sun-tracking photovoltaic power generation system has been developed, its drawback of expensive price affects its promotion. However,sun-tracking system can make better use of solar energy, and the sun-tracking photovoltaic equipment is also the direction of development of the industry. This paper introduces the research status of the solar tracker, and the applications of parallel mechanism are briefly described, preparing for the introduction of parallel mechanism and outlines the purpose and significance of the research. The mathematical model and physical model of the kinematics and dynamics of the mechanism are established, and the kinematics and dynamics simulation are carried out by MATLAB software and ADAMS software. The velocity and acceleration curves of the parallel mechanism and the driving force curves of the associated drive pairs are obtained. By comparing the results of the two models and verifying the correctness of the model, it is verified that the 3-RPS parallel mechanism can be applied in the solar-tracking system by simulating the special position. As a tracking device, the parallel mechanism can not only increase the rigidity of the system, but also achieve the function of tracking in all directions, which has played a positive role in the promotion of the tracking type photovoltaic power generation system.
