This paper focuses on the maintenance cycle technology of city hybrid buses.Theories inclusive of auto reliability are applied to determine the mileage set for elementary and complete maintenance of hybrid electric buses,while studies in respect of hybrid electric bus maintenance are also covered.Firstly,an analysis is performed on the current situation of new energy vehicles as well as problems it has caused for vehicle maintenance.The significance of optimizing the mileage based maintenance schedule for hybrid electric buses is expounded by referring to the evolution of national regulations and industrial standards at home and abroad in relation to city bus maintenance.Secondly,an intensive study is conducted on hybrid electric buses in terms of the structure,factors affecting their technical conditions,failure classification and distribution,thereby concluding how technical conditions of those buses are changing.Thirdly,the theory of hybrid electric bus maintenance is studied as a way to identify failure patterns of the buses in question.Systems and parts crucial to the safety and reliability of those buses are confirmed.Efforts are made to study reliability modeling.As such,a reliability statistical model is applied to develop a failure distribution model for hybrid electric buses.The mileage set for elementary maintenance of those buses is determined economically based on failure data analysis and model verification.Studies proceed on the mileage set for elementary maintenance by analyzing the variation of maintenance,minor overhaul and man-hour cost incurred within the distance traveled with mileage,based on a confidence analysis method.When it comes to the complete maintenance,vehicle safety is given top priority,while the reliability and lubricant service life are counted as secondary constraints.The complete maintenance period is determined and optimized based on a multi-objective optimization method.This paper introduces briefly enterprise standards of city bus maintenance process.The study accesses 40 HIGER gas-electric hybrid buses(HIGER KLQ6129GCHEV1A),being 12 meters in length each,and collects 937 on-site failure data covering a period of 12 months.All of those data are duly processed.By applying Excel,the operational reliability model and the mileage set for maintenance of hybrid electric buses are verified and calculated based on reliability modeling,linear regression fitting chart analysis and fitting precision analysis.
