Recently,the contradiction is deepening with the shortage of energy and the development of economy.As a part of all kinds of energy consumption,building energy consumption can't be ignored and is attracting the attention of experts.Transformer energy consumption is about 20% of building energy consumption,which makes it an important issue to reduce the loss of the transformer for the designers.This paper focuses on the transformers in civil buildings,and researches the methods of its energy saving,which is of great practical significance to society.The main contents of this paper are divided into the following aspects:1.According to the basic theory of transformer to find the energy-saving methods of civil building transformer,mainly including: Firstly,the basic knowledge of the structure and principle of the transformer is introduced,and several important parameters of the transformer are analyzed.Secondly,through the mathematical formula of the transformer loss,the reason and characteristics of the transformer loss is researched,and then the factors that affect the transformer loss are found and analyzed.Finally,the paper summarizes the characteristics and selection principles of civil buildings' transformers,and introduces the concept of load grading of civil buildings and the method of load calculation.2.This paper deduces the measures to reduce loss of transformer in civil buildings through the theoretical part of the analysis and research,including: ? Choose energy-saving transformer;?Select the transformer economic capacity;?Choose the economic operation of the transformer;?Improve the system power factor;?Inhibit the harmonic wave in the system.3.The paper researches two commercial and residential building power transformer as a case to choose the transformer's economic capacity and mode of operation,and put forward the energy-saving program through the data sorting and calculation and reactive power compensation.This paper draws out the concrete measures of energy saving and damage reduction of civil building distribution transformers through the large number of mathematical derivation and theoretical analysis,which has reference and practical significance for the design and selection of power distribution transformers for civil buildings.
