Combined module structure is assembled from a set of cubic frames connected by special joints. There is a big difference in construction between modular structures and traditional frame structures. No modular structure have ever been reported in real earthquake.Earthquake behaviors of the structure is still unknown,so it is of great significance to investigate anti-seismic performance of combination module structure.A model of seven-layer module structure is built in finite element analysis.Node connection of the structure is introduced and an ideal rigid-hinge joint model is established.the response spectrum method is used to get the internal force and displacement response of the calculation model in the intensity-7 frequent earthquake, the characteristics of structure members is briefly analysed. It is founded that the horizontal connection plate and the vertical connection part is under great shearing stress.Brace is a main lateral resistance member, variation of the brace will significantly change the structural displacement response.Various joints is extracted from the structure, the loading point location-initial rotational stiffness curve is drawed through the finite element analyses guided by EC3 joint modal. The semi-rigid data of the joints is inputed to the structure,The earthquake response of the two modals is compared. It is found that the influence of moment-rotational stiffness on seismic response of the structure is larger, the influence of the shear-rotational stiffness is relatively smaller.Pushover analysis and time-history analysis are conducted on both of the two computational models under rare seismic intensity 7,8 and 9.Performance level of the structure is evaluated. The two calculation's displacement result is compared. The bearing capacity of most structure members is checked.
