Investigation and research shows that traffic accident of(VRUs)Vulnerable Road users occur frequently because there are VRUs and vehicles sharing the same road due to the complex traffic situation in China which causes a great deal of personal injury and property damage every year.In order to study and improve the collision accidents between car and VRUs,road traffic accidents must be carefully investigated and analyzed,combine scientific methods to reconstruct the accidents,analyze the cause of the accident and the mechanism of the car crash.Even if systematic research has been carried out,and a great deal of effective work has been done,the investigation of the accident in South China,the credibility of the accident reconstruction,the analysis of the human body kinematics and biomechanics,and the finite element analysis should be further analyzed.This paper focuses on the aspects mentioned above.Based on the Accident In-depth investigation,collected information of major traffic accident of Guangdong from June to September in 2016,Optimal treat problem of the process,for example,improvement of image rectification apply to video speed measurement.EDR information apply to Statistical analysis of vehicle motion.Proposed a method of human vehicle collision model and PC-Crash to obtain the max speed calculation formula.Using CRASH model to draw the vehicle energy grid to extend vehicle speed calculation method.Case study of actual vehicle pedestrian collision accident,reconstructed human vehicle collision accident by MBS model,applied the velocity calculate method mentioned above for the speed information.Got the motion information of human and vehicle from MBS simulation and took error analysis for some simulation parameters.Used the result of MBS simulation as boundary condition to established biomechanical model of limb collision,reconstructed collision process of human limb and acquired information of stress distribution of lower limb long bone,bend angle and shearing displacement of knee joint form the collision model.Studyed the influence of vehicle velocity effect on knee joint injuries,through trapezoidal section bumper structure and appropriately reduced the height of bumper to improve the safety of vehicle to limb of pedestrian.Used the result of MBS simulation as boundary condition to established biomechanical model of head collision,reconstructed the process of human head collision and acquired intracranial pressure stress distribution.Human body injury was evaluated by contact force,acceleration peak value and HIC value,which is consistent with a real accident.The head injury can be effectively reduced by reducing the installation angle of the windshield of the vehicle from these simulation.
