With the sustained and stable economic development in China,energy saving and emissi on reduction is becoming more and more important for the economic development and enviro nrnent protection.The capacity of the grid is increased rapidly,but the increasing of load requirement is slowly.Because the annual utilization hours are decreased,the turbine generator unit cannot work at the efficiency status and make the maximized benefits.Since there are heat users around the power plant,as an energy manufacture center,the alteration from condensing power plant to cogeneration unit is carried out in more and more power plant.How to use the existed straightcondensing equipment and design the auxiliary power system based on the existed scheme,is becoming a new issue to be studied to lower the auxiliary power consumption and maximize the benefits of the plant.Based on the Huaneng Tongchuan 600MW subcritical power plant alteration from condensing power plant to cogeneration unit,the following issues are studied.Considering the middle voltage connection and the existed load connetction,using the ETAP to calculate the short circuit current adopted the IEC code,check the short circuit capacity of the existed equipment;check the voltage drop during the motor starded,check the voltage range of the equipment operation.Based on the above studies,the parameter and type selection of the back-pressure turbine generator is provided;the electric connection scheme of the back-pressure turbine generator is given.
