Application Of BIM In The Bidding Price Calculation Of Construction Projects

Generally construction projects have the features of large investment,long construction period and covers an area of big and long period.Often building exterior and the interior of the building structure design is very complicated.These factors result in the uncertainty of project investment control.The game playing between owner and contractor is very intense and fierce.These characteristics of the project lead to projects in the stage of trading faces enormous problems and challenges,such as the tender price control of the most significant problems.In this paper,BIM technology is applied to the owner in the process of project tender control price and analysis of the owners.Firstly,it collected and classified the current issues of the bidding control price and analyzed the factors that caused these consequences.Secondly,the basic plan and critical issues of BIM-based bidding control price was discussed and analyzed to lay a foundation of the implementation of the proposed method.Thirdly,the process of BIM-based bidding control price is displayed by pictures and word.The data structure of BIM design model and cost estimating model,in particular,is studied.In addition,the process of biding control price summary is also demonstrate by a picture,according to China's relevant rules of the AEC industry.Finally,the proposals and measures to effectively implement the proposed method are given based on the status quo of China.Through the application of BIM technology,the owner can will deepen the BIM design model,and then quickly calculate the tender control price.The owner can also quickly master the key cost information,all parts of the unit price and total project amount.It can compare detailed cost information and thus help the owner to effectively control investment.
