Experimental Research On Shear Property Of RC Beams Strengthened By Direct-Shear-Bolted Steel Plates

With the development of the construction industry,the Mature and Reliable Reinforcement Technology has been increasing domestically and abroad.Each of the Increasing the Sections Method,Carbon Fiber Reinforced Method,and Steel Plate can yield excellent results.But in practical engineering,they each presents different limitations and deficiencies.In order to effectively avoid the peeling of the traditional bonding composite fiber material or bonding steel reinforcement system,and the joint force of the ordinary bolting steel plate reinforcement system,team developed and patented the Direct-Shear-Bolted steel Plate Reinforcement Method.This method recognizes the close contact between the surface of the bolting and the steel plate,and ensures that the bolting group can immediately coordinate deformation,joint force,and transfer load to the plate.The entirety of the reinforcement system can participate in structures efficiently and effectively,and maximize the material properties of steel plate and bolting to achieve superior performance.Team has achieved periodic results in the research of the direct shear bolting steel plate reinforcement.currently,the research of bolting steel plate is relatively mature,and mainly focuses on the bending reinforcement of bolting steel plate.Some have proposed a more reliable empirical formula to calculate the bending moment of the bolting steel reinforced beam,but there's few research on shear strengthening.According to " The Construction Method of Direct-Shear-Bolted Steel Plate ",in engineering,the steel plate should be protected with glue when reinforcing the construction with Direct-Shear-Bolted steel plate in engineering.In this paper,we have completed the static test of four full size beams what are the same cross-section and reinforcement.We analyzed the influence of the injected glue protection measures on the direct shear bolting steel plate reinforcement system,and further verify the mechanism and superiority of direct shear bolting plate reinforcement system.This paper innovation points are the following points:(1)This research use Direct-Shear-Bolted steel plate reinforced method for reinforcement,including Direct-Shear-Bolted,which is the team to develop technology,having obtained a patent for invention;(2)This research will use direct shear bolt for inclined section of reinforced concrete beam shear reinforcement,research the influence and the failure mode of reinforcement effect with different height of the steel;(3)In the research,the influence and the failure mode of reinforcement effect with glue will be mentioned for the first time.The main contents of this paper are:(1)Test design and pouring specimens: four full scale reinforced concrete rectangular beams with the same cross-section and reinforcement are placed,and three beams are reinforced by direct shear bolting steel plate reinforcement.The size,thickness and the number and arrangement of shear bolts are the same at each end of each beam.One end is reinforced with injected glue protection,the other end is not injected glue.(2)Experimental research: Through the static loading test of the four concrete beams,the deflection,bearing capacity,steel strain and shearing angle,we discuss the influence of injected glue protection on the reinforcement effect of the technology.(3)Conclusion: combined with the experimental results,it further proves that the Direct-Shear-Bolted steel plate can significantly improve the shear capacity,stiffness and stability of concrete beam,and effectively control the crack.If the boltings are enough,and the layout is reasonable,we can get better mechanical porperties of the reinforced beam with the higher Direct-Shear-Bolted steel plate.The glue also can make the mechanical porperties of the reinforced beam with the higher Direct-Shear-Bolted steel plate better.Besides,the glue can be seen as safety stock.
