Gear transmission is widely used in mechanical transmission. As mechanical transmission equipment trend towards higher precision, transmission error and characteristics in gear transmission system have become significant performance indicators. As elastic deformation of each part in the system is unavoidable,it is necessary to establish an equivalent precision characteristic model of gear transmission system with loads, form errors and elastic deformation of each part.Taking gear cylindrical gear transmission system as the object of study, this paper establishes kinematic geometric model considering elasticity and errors, which studies the relationship between transmission errors and geometrical form errors and elastic deformation.Concrete contents are as follows:(1)First,components of gear transmission system are analyzed. This paper establishes kinematic geometric model of gear transmission system considering the errors of bearing components and elastic floating supports,in which errors and characteristics of bearing components are equivalent to plate conjugate cams, the errors are mapped on cam profiles, and the elasticity is equivalent to several cam followers restricted by springs;based on the kinematic geometric model with floating shaft supports, establish the relation equations between errors and elasticity of bearing components and time-varying center distance, and solve the time-varying center distance misalignment of supporting shaft axis.(2)Secondly,the influences of errors and elasticity in transmission system on transmission errors are taken into consideration. To find the relationship between errors and transmission errors, this paper establishes the error model according to conjugate meshing equation and force analysis, analyzes the influence of time-varying center distance errors, tooth profile errors and shaft axis misalignment on transmission errors;purposed elastic kinematic geometric model considering the influence of time-varying meshing stiffness and alternate engagement of single and double teeth on conjugate equations, and analyzes the influences of elasticity of gear teeth on transmission errors.(3)Finally,the comprehensive transmission precision model is established.Based on the comprehensive influence of elasticity and errors on transmission errors, kinematic geometric model of gear transmission system considering the gear errors and elasticity is established. For gear transmission precision model, the paper studies influences of various influence factors on transmission errors, establishes precise precision model considering the single-tooth meshing condition in double-teeth meshing zones caused by errors and elasticity. In addition, the analysis and calculation of a study case verify the established model. From the perspective of establishing an equivalent model, this paper studies the relationship between transmission errors and the form errors and elastic deformation of each part in gear transmission system, which extends traditional gear transmission theories.
