Line loss is an important indicator in reflecting power supply enterprise grid equipment,operation and management,and the electricity loss generated in the process of transmission by the power grid directly affects the efficiency of the electricity usage and economic profits.Despite the continuingly high Wudi grid line loss in recent years,no specific reasons behind the phenomenon have been found,hence no effective measures been taken to tackle such problem.Therefore,this article devotes itself into research on the principle of distribution network line loss calculation analysis and its methods as well as main technical measures of energy conservation and loss reduction,and while,with consideration into the present situation of power grid,conducting line loss theoretical calculation by using the equivalent resistance and root-mean-square current approaches and specific analysis for typical circuit with higher calculation results and power distribution area.According to the analysis results,major measures are taken for energy saving and transformation like the replacement of large cross-section wire,the replacement of energy-intensive transformer,network upgrading for power distribution area along with the comparative line loss calculation for specific circuits and areas before and after such measures are taken,which clearly verifies the accuracy of the theoretical calculation of line loss and the effectiveness of loss reduction measures.Through the theoretical calculation of line loss,energy conservation and loss reduction,wudi has gained obvious effects in grid loss reduction,with effective reduction of the electric energy loss in distribution network,avoiding the electric energy loss and enhancing the economic level of the power grid operation and management,which helped create considerable economic benefits for enterprise operation.
