A Study On Extension Of Context In Landscape Design In University Campus

Campus space is composed of campus landscape,campus buildings and groups.The campus landscape design is important to campus space design.The long-term reform and development of the campus landscape nurtures the campus culture,accumulates the culture essence,which is not only the specific symbol of university’s history,but also a figurative expression of campus cultural soul.Material campus landscape is an important carrier of the expression of the spirit and culture,and it can also promote teachers’ and students’ understanding of campus culture.The history and culture,the unique symbol and the every-changing material carrier of the campus landscape can make the people’s memory inherited.This paper will be discussed from four parts: The first part is introduction,which analyzes the source,contents and significance of the topic,and describes the research status.There are also some problems should be solved,including old campus landscape transformation doing great damage to historical relics,the lack of landscape culture in new campus,the stereotype of campus layout,and college and university landscape culture disconnection.The second part elaborates related theories and summarizes some design features,including the damage of historical relics in old campus,the lack of culture inheritance in new campus,and the gap between new and old campuses.On the basis of specific environment and historical culture in colleges and universities,and combined with landscape design content,the third part studies the culture inheritance in landscape design through analyzing the basic elements,influencing factors and professional characteristics of universities and colleges landscape.According to the thorny problems in landscape design of colleges and universities,the fourth part explores how to inherit the culture in old and new campuses landscape design,how to keep old campus characteristics,how to inherit traditional spirit and culture,and how to sustain the resplendence.At last,the author proposes relevant design methods.
