The development of materials science has promoted the transformation of shipbuilding manufacturing materials to new materials.Glass fiber reinforced plastic(GFRP)is widely used in the shipbuilding industr y because of its high strength,non-magnetic,corrosion resistance and excellent designable property.At present,the sandwich structure constituted by high-strength or high-stiffness composite panels and lightweight core material used in anti-explosive ships has become a trend.There is rare report on composite sandwich structure boat in China,which hindered the development of shipbuilding industry.Therefore,it is necessary to study on anti-explosive numerical simulation of the composite sandwich structure.This paper was mainly for the GFRP foam sandwich structure ship for anti-explosive analysis,and the ship's anti-explosion was reflected by ship's strength,stiffness and energy absorption.Firstly,the feasibility of GFRP applied for anti-explosive ship was verified by pendulum impact test and the ship of GFRP sandwich structure was designed according to ship design code.Secondly,the well-designed GFRP sandwich structure ship was calculated by numerical simulation under wave loads,which was checking for the well-designed ship in the normal work environments and providing comparative object for anti-explosive analysis.Finally,the anti-explosive analysis for the cabin of GFRP sandwich structure ship was carried out.According to the principle of same mass and same lines plan,the GFRP veneer structure ship and the GFRP hard shell structure ship as the comparison object of the GFRP sandwich structure ship were designed.Then,three GFRP boats were calculated for underwater explosion simulation and th e influence of the equipment in the cabin on the strength and energy absorption of the ship was discussed.The results showed that the strength of the three ships was related to the specific working conditions,and the stiffness of the GFRP sandwich structure ship was the smallest.The energy absorption of the GFRP sandwich structure was the highest regardless of the presence or absence of the equipment in the cabin under the explosive load,which was consistent with the maximum deformation energy of the GFRP sandwich structure ship under wave load.In this paper,the simulation analysis of GFRP foam sandwich structure ship was discussed in detail.The result proved that the GFRP sandwich structure had a great advantage on energy absorption.Thus,the GFRP sandwich structure showed the scientificity and the potential application in the field of anti-explosive ship.This paper provides a reference for the analysis of anti-explosive performance of composite sandwich structure.
