Central Urbanization Work Conference made the related problems of urban features and characteristics be paid widespread attention.To solve the problems of urban features and characteristics has important significance to the development of cities.The increasing attention of urban features and characteristics represents the general trend.The planning of urban features and characteristics in our country starts late and the research is still in the primary st age.There are some problems in theoretical research and in practical operation.Although a lot of cities in the country have been prepared with the planning of urban features and characteristics,and the practical results are abundant,it has certain blindness and lacks innovation.More and then,the vigorous development of the minority business has brought some opportunities to the planning of urban features and characteristics.In view of the current background and problems of the times,this study puts forward the urban features and characteristic planning strategy.Through the in-depth study on the city features and its planning,combined with existing problems and development trends,the strategies are prposed to highlight the city characteristics,heritage city context and build livable city which can largely enhance the city's comprehensive competitiveness and realize the two-way promotion of the urban environment and quality of life.This study mainly focuses on the proposal of the urban character fe atures and characteristic planning strategy.Firstly,it clarifies the research direction and related concepts,and provides the theoretical basis and direction for the later discussion by analyzing the related basic theories.This section systematically an alyses the characteristics,elements,types and influencing factors of urban features and characteristics,and concludes the status,characteristics,contents and existing problems of the planning of urban features and characteristics,and it summarizes the thinking and revelation of the outstanding achievements of the planning of urban features and characteristics at home and abroad.Meantime,this section stipulates the positioning,target and principle of the construction of planning of urban features and characteristics.On this basis,the research puts forward the strategies of urban features and characteristics in planning.And it analyzes the planning strategies from three aspects of shaping strategy on historical and cultural features,natural and ecological features and features and characteristics of people's life.Finally,according to the above research results,taking Huanren Manchu Autonomous County as an example,this paper makes a deep research and discussion on the urban characteristic planning of the project area.The research further clarifies the planning objectives of the project and formulates the planning train of thought.And it conducts the practice of Huanren overall urban features and characteristics planning according to the planning control elements of urban style characteristics.Finally,it implements control on the features planning of key sections in Huanren in four area of the central city,Beijiang City,Xijiang City and Nanjiang Ice Wine Towns to improve the coverage of the results of the project.
