The structure size,effective length limit deviation and line density of the poly V-belt were summarized,based on the national situation of the transmission characteristics of poly V-belt.The material nonlinear characteristics of the poly V-belt were verified by tensile test,a layered volume calculation method for elastic modulus of the poly V-belt was established,the elastic modulus and viscous damping coefficient of PK,PL and PM ploy V-belt were measured and compared by experiments.The dynamic equation of the transverse vibration of PM poly V-belt was established,based on the Kelvin model,the curve of the transverse vibration was solved by the method of Runge-Kutta,the effects of rotation speed and tension force on transverse vibration were analyzed.The rigid flexible coupling model was established based on RecurDyn,which is a multi-body dynamics analysis software,the stress distribution of wedge and back of PM poly-V belt,the vibration amplitude of different positions and the influence of rotation speed and tension force on transverse vibration at the center point of tight edge were analyzed by simulation.The transverse vibration of the PM poly V-belt was studied by experiments on poly-V belt precision length measuring machine,the effects of rotation speed and tension force on transverse vibration were analyzed and the simulation result was verified by measuerd the vibration amplitude and frequency of PM poly-V belt in different position during the transmission.The effects of elastic modulus,viscous damping coefficient and linear density on transverse vibration were studied by transverse vibration simulation and experiment of PK,PL and PM poly-V belt under the same rotation speed and tension force on.
