The power which was generated from crankshaft of the automotive engine accessories transferred to the air-conditioner compressor ? power steering pump ?alternator?pump through a ribbed belts.The system also can be called Front End Accessory Drive.As the important part of the car,the quality of the gear train have an effect on fuel consumption of the car?mechanical life and comfortableness.As the ribbed belts is widely used in automobile gear train,the complexity of the gear train is mainly embodied in the various vibration,the vibration mode mainly includes: vibration of axially moving belt?whirling vibration of tensioner arm and gear.Vibration of axially moving belt include various forms: longitudinal vibration?transverse vibration?lateral vibration and torsional vibration.The researchers found that the engine gear train internal vibrations will accelerate wear and noise,it also seriously will cause the system failure and damage,even affect the whole machine,the technical index of the vehicle.To optimize automobile wedge with the performance of the gear train,reduce the energy consumption of the engine,researchers have a lot of research on dynamic information retrieval.For the shortage that the poly-rib belt need be simplify existed in the dynamic modeling and simulation,digital image processing techniques were adopted to obtain the dynamic information of engine ploy-rib belt in this article,build a set of collection system using a high-speed camera as the front-end acquisition device,to improve the detection method ' s comprehensiveness and accuracy,to analysis the vibration characteristic of the gear train?reduce noise of gear train and fuel consumption,improve the comfortable feeling when you drive the motorcycle,helps to improve the technology of design.In the process of getting the information.Firstly,a camera is applied in tracking and recording the artificial marking signs on the ploy-rib belt.Secondly,the location information of the making signs is acquired by digital image processing techniques.At last,the marking signs that had become deformable typically is recognized by using the study's algorithm and Hough transform,then comparing the errors between the two methods and analyzing correlation of the dynamic data which was obtained by the experiment and the laser rangefinder.The experiment results show that the dynamic information on engine ploy-rib belt can be obtained precisely by using the method proposed in this article.
