In the past two years, the use of automobiles in China has increased, but heavy vehicles have become more and more important in the future. With the increase of heavy duty vehicle demand and usage, at the same time, the security problem of cause too much of our attention,and the braking system is an important system of car security. Therefore, it is very important to keep improving the braking performance of heavy vehicles. Brake brake lining in the process of temperature of heated area, brake drum and brake disc and brake type and structure parameters, etc all can affect automotive braking process. Therefore, the structural parameters optimization was carried out on the car before and after the brake, and the optimized parameters is in line with the auto vehicle parameters and achieve the best braking performance, so as to ensure the safety of driving, improve vehicle active safety performance,has the very vital significance.Firstly in this paper introduces the background and research progress at home and abroad,and the research of the braking system of three types, structural style of. the drum brake and disc brake and disc and drum brakes in the application of heavy duty truck, there is sense of proportional valve and the structure and function of ABS. Secondly, in the process of automobile brake the braking force, slip ratio and adhesion brake is analyzed, at the same time,applied to the back of the brake parameters optimization and matching simulation of braking.Again through the vehicle parameters and brake basis parameters selection and calculation, and combined with the MATLAB optimization toolbox to establish objective function and constraint conditions, the best parameters is obtained by nonlinear function optimization. Finally use the income in the process of the optimal parameters of automobile brake brake thermal analysis under different adhesion coefficient and equipped with a sense of proportion valve and automotive anti-lock brakes cases performance analysis to determine whether the parameters meeting the conditions, so as to determine the parameters optimization is effective.Through the basic research on the subject, the design of braking system and the following work provide the basis of the parameters.
