In order to make the spherical ball bearing adapt to the condition of high-frequency inclined swinging and composite swinging,an inclined raceway spherical ball bearing is proposed.Based on ordinary spherical plain bearings and adding rolling balls,the cyclic and inclined raceway is machined on the inner and center rings,and the ball is added to the raceway.The rolling friction is substituted for sliding friction in the working case.It has smaller friction coefficient and other characteristics.In this paper,the type of 25 mm diameter's bearing is regard as the research object,the design of structural parameter and other relevant research are also studied.The main contents are as follows:For improving the bearing capacity and the movement fluency of balls at the reversing position as the goal,the diameter of rolling ball and the radius of reversing position as design parameters,analysis of dynamic contact mechanics,the influences of two key structural parameters on contact stress and acceleration of the ball are studied that by the analysis of dynamic contact characteristics.And the best structural parameters are obtained.Based on the principle of load distribution,the distribution formulas of the inclined raceway spherical ball bearing when subjected to radial and axial loads are established.For verifying the formulas,a finite element analysis model is established and analyzed.The simulation results is analyzed using Matlab and polynomial fitting,according to the relationship between the load and the maximum contact stress,the radial and axial ultimate static loads are calculated.Based on the analysis of the rolling ball and the center ring's contact deformation and sliding speed,the wear model of inclined raceway spherical ball bearing is established using Archard wear model.The changing trend of wear depth with time is obtained by calculating the wear prediction model.The results prove that the inclined raceway spherical ball bearing has higher wear life than ordinary spherical plain bearings of the same diameter in the same swing condition.
