Supervision and examination of the code is an important means to ensure the effective implementation of engineering construction standards.At present,there are still many problems in supervision and examination of the code,such as different management level,heavy workload and low intelligence level,the current management methods and technical means can not meet the needs of reality.The development of BIM technology provides a way to solve these problems.The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued "The informatization of construction industry development outline from 2016 to 2020",which has made it clear that the use of BIM for design check in order to improve design quality.In addition,BIM has many advantages,such as rich data information,multi professional collaboration,visualization and so on.Therefore,under the general trend of the industry and the policy guidance,it is of great significance to carry out the research on supervision and examination of the code based on BIM and realize automatic check of the code.Based on the reinforced concrete frame structure,this paper combed the code for design of reinforced concrete structure,analyzed and put forward the code of the study which could match the model elements and could be translated into the programming language.Referring to the naming rules of variables in the program language,the keywords and key conditions in the code were extracted,the corresponding logical relations were constructed,and the translation of code was realized.Then the article carried out Revit secondary development to achieve BIM model examination.It introduced three ways to obtain Revit elements,among which "filters" was the most widely used.The method of extracting concrete strength grade,concrete protective layer thickness,element size and reinforcing bar information was introduced.It was pointed out that the property parameters which could not be checked directly needed to be calculated by relative calculation,mainly for the longitudinal reinforcement area of frame beam and frame column,and put forward the relevant algorithm.Then according to the codes translation rules,checked the model and summarized the elements that could not meet the requirements of code rules,formed a model checking report.Finally,an example was given to illustrate the feasibility of this paper.This paper realized that the code of structural design was automaticly checked based on BIM,it made up for the deficiencies of such research in the field of architecture.In addition,automatic check of code by BIM can not only reduce the workload of supervision and examination,improve the efficiency of supervision,shorten the difference of the technical level of each supervision between institutions,guarantee the project's quality,but also promote the informatization construction of the supervision of code,improve the government supervision and management system and promote the popularization and application of BIM in China.
