In recent years,with the technical and structural innovation,long span suspension bridges have been developing rapidly.At the same time,due to the increase of uncertain factors,their construction is facing unprecedented high risk,which holds up the development to some extent.Therefore,the assessment and control of risk in construction is of great importance.In this work,the construction risk analysis of long span suspension bridge was performed around the following issues:(1)The risk theory was applied in bridge engineering,the definition of bridge construction risk was provided,and the overall framework of such risk analysis was constructed.(2)Based on the construction characteristics of the considered bridges,the risk analysis was carried out from five aspects,i.e.,the technology,cost,period,quality and safety.To lay the foundation of the risk identification,a list of the risk factors was summarized from the potential risk information of relevant bridges.(3)Based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process,the risk identification model of the reinforcement beam suspension bridge was proposed.With the principle of fuzzy complementary judgment matrix and Matlab programming,the weight of different risk factors in construction was calculated and sorted,from which the main risk factors were picked up.(4)The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,combined with the risk matrix method and expert investigation method under ALARP criterion,risk assessment model of reinforcement beam suspension bridges was built.Risk evaluation was conducted around different risk factors(e.g.,the construction technology)from the aspects of construction probability and loss.On this basis,the overall construction risk level was obtained through Matlab programming.(5)The proposed risk assessment system was used in the construction project of“Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge”,the overall risk level was computed and the associated prevention and control strategies were put forward.
