Garden And Landscape Design Research

With the improvements on quality of life,people's requirements for villas are not just extravagance and luxury,but to satisfy self-demands.What people need is a kind of potential ideology,a kind of villas that can not only reflect quality of life nowadays,but also embody cultural accomplishments.This article starts from inner feelings of dwellers and external structures of villa gardens,explains the design methods and processes of villa gardens in detail,and states main research contents.The villa garden is regarded as the core representative of privately-owned landscapes,with emphasis laid on functions and space designs of gardens as well as pleasant sceneries.It requires continuous summaries,improvements and innovations to meet people's requirements for high quality of landscapes.However,there has been no systematic and effective method for villa garden landscape designs by far.As a result,in this thesis,literature and practical case study methods are used,this article firstly introduces backgrounds,purposes,significance as well as current situations and levels at home and abroad of researches on villa garden landscapes;and then states related concepts regarding villa garden landscape designs and principles to be followed during designs.It explains in detail the required elements of villa garden landscapes together with classifications and applications of each element.Besides,it emphatically introduces the design processes and methods of villa garden landscapes from five parts of contents,including investigations and surveys,schematic designs,construction drawing designs,drawing reviews and explanations.Through analysis and researches on this series of psychical and structural elements,it summarizes a set of systematic,multi-dimensional and multi-spatial menu-driven villa garden landscape design methods,and analyzes their feasibility.It is ultimately expected to give guidance for villa garden landscape designs in order to come up with a new design method,increase design efficiency and improve design effects.
