Road transportation is one of the most important modes of transportation in China.The safety service of road transportation plays an important role in promoting the development of local economy.The early disease of the road,resulting in the decline of pavement technical performance,seriously affected its service level,and even endanger the traffic safety.Since pavement disease investigation is a basis for the development of reasonable conservation measures,it is critical to carry out the road disease investigation quickly and effectively.Manual detection and automated testing are two major methods for road disease investigation.Automated detection methods can greatly improve the detection efficiency,but its cost is very high,the accuracy of it is not high enough.The traditional method of manual detection has low cost,but it is inefficient,paperized operation,and waste of resources.Considering the advantages and disadvantages of the above methods as well as,the popularity of Android smartphones,which built a large number of sensors in it,use the smartphone as pavement disease investigation was put forward.This paper analyzes the current situation of road disease survey in domestic and foreign smartphones,and learns the related knowledge of Android,database and Web server,and proposes the development of a road disease detection system based on intelligent mobile terminal.The system uses Android smartphone to collect pavement disease data,SQL Server database storage,management data,and Web server to achieve the data exchange between android smartphones and database.The function of the system is tested,and the function of road information editing,road information editing,disease information editing,disease picture addition,disease location,disease query and so on can be realized on the real machine of XiaoMi 4.The results are identical.The mobile intelligent terminal pavement disease detection system developed in this paper was more convenient and has lower cost as well as good application prospects as compared with the traditional detection method.
