Recent years,many cities were forced to take measures to solve the water-logging problems as it caused great economic loss and casualties.To reduce the loss of life and property to the great extent,two mainly measures must be taken into people’s consideration.On the one hand,the construction of the infrastructure of drainage system must be improved.On the other hand,a corresponding monitoring system must be built.A monitoring system is essential for coordinated scheduling of drainage system by mastering the real-time status of city’s water-logging more timely and comprehensive especially the real-time water level of drainage pipeline and road low-lying areas.This study is about the research of a monitoring system for drainage pipeline and road low-lying areas.The major achievements of this study were show as follows:1.This paper designed a monitoring system for drainage pipeline and road low-lying areas.The monitoring system was consisting of three parts: electronic gauge,ultrasonic stage gauge and host device.The water level of road low-lying areas and drainage pipeline were monitored by electronic gauge and ultrasonic stage gauge(which install on the manhole)respectively.Then the data collected by these two gauges were analyzed by host device and send to the server via GPRS.2.This paper studied the system’s requirement analysis,system structure and function in detail,the key components selection,the circuit design of the host device,electronic gauge and ultrasonic stage gauge,and the software design.This paper presented a method for measuring different dielectric by changing the values of pull-up resistance and pull-up voltages.This study analyzed the impedance match of ultrasonic transducer and designed the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving circuit.3.This paper analyzed the accuracy and repeatability error of electronic gauge and ultrasonic stage gauge.The test result indicated that our monitoring system has reached the national standard.In conclusion,we complete our monitoring system from data receiving software,application software,data collection and analysis and application test.The application of this monitoring system could realize automatic monitor of real-time water level of road low-lying areas and drainage pipeline.The timely and accurate information provided by the monitoring system could lower the cost compare to manual monitoring and help the municipal administration to take effective measures to solve flood and water-logging problems.Moreover,the monitoring system provides reliable information to citizens and guarantee for daily trips security and normal city operation. |
