Aircraft towing vehicle is a GSE(Ground Support Equipment)which is used to move the aircraft.In operation,the towbar is canceled,the special clamping and lifting device is used to hold and lift the wheel of NLG,the device makes the tractor and the aircraft into a whole and achieve the towing or pushing operation of the aircraft.In recent years,with the rapid development of the towbarless tractor,the towbarless tractor towards miniaturization,simple operation and flexible operation.A small remote control towbarless tractor is proposed in the paper by changing the position of clamping and lifting device relative to the tractor to make the junction center of NLG and fuselage coincides with the axis center of the rear drive wheels of tractor.And a route based on minimum turning radius of the traction system has been defined according to the limit angle of aircraft NLG,It is simulated with ADAMS that the new design is compared with the traditional design,the radius of wingtip sweeping and the turning angle of NLG are regarded as evaluation index.The advantages of this design is validated.A new structure of servo hydraulic lifting mechanism is also presented which makes the clamping and lifting plane to fit the wheel of NLG by changing the position of the lifting hydraulic cylinder piston rod of the clamping and lifting platform during the whole turning process;constant pressure support can be provided for the wheel of NLG by this design.In order to ensure the clamping and lifting plane and the NLG wheel always fit,the stroke curve of the lifting hydraulic cylinder piston rod need to be determined in the turning process,the load transfer theory is used to analyze the redistribution of the force in the turning process of the traction system with the service curve of undercarriage support air in A320 landing gear and the load-compression curve of tire,the inclined attitude of NLG wheel in the turning process is derived,so as to obtain the stroke curve of the hydraulic lifting rod.The stroke curve is introduced into ADAMS and carries dynamics simulation.It is concluded that the force curve of the contact between the NLG wheels and the clamping and lifting platform,and it is compared with the traditional situation;Finally,the force curve is applied to the core component(the front baffle)of the clamping and lifting mechanism in ANSYS Workbenchand makes strength check,analyze and draw the conclusion that the strength of the core component is reliable.
