The Institute of Modern Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,has done a lot of achievements in the field of nuclear physics based on the large-scale scientific facility,thus,the design and operation of the accelerator is one of the important contents.The ion source is the key to generate beam and plays an important role in the whole device of the accelerator facility.In recent years,with the rapid development of particle accelerator technology,the requirements of beam quality from ion source are increasingly higher.It is significant to measure beam emmitance fast and accurately for ion source's commissioning,operation and performance research.It is the main research content of this paper to design a stable and fast beam emmitance measurement system,which can serve the physical commissioning and experiment.The widely used software architecture and development tools of the accelerator control system at home and abroad are the experimental physics and industrial control system(EPICS).The standard model of EPICS is the distributed control system,which is stable and can be used to develop device driver.Many sorts of the control system software in the institute are also gradually transforming to EPICS in recent years.At present,the beam emissivity measurement system is mainly achieved through Lab VIEW.With the increasing demand for the stability of the measurement system,this dissertation proposes a measurement system based on EPICS.Based on the EPICS software system,this dissertation has developed a dual slit motor motion control,ECR ion source beam emissivity measurement system driven by PXI board data acquisition IOC.The Interface used EPICS software system OPI tool CS-Studio,which can be achieved in the system of different equipment control measurement data unified display on the user's interface,and it facilitates the operator's control.The DSC module of Lab VIEW software is used to release the progress variable of the beam.The IOC program of motor motion control is developed based on Stream Device.In the test,the whole system is stable and reliable and easy to use,being friendly with clear structure,which meets the ECR ion source beam emmitance measurement requirements.
