The truss structure of escalator plays an important role in supporting the weight and external load.In order to ensure the safety and stability of the escalator,the truss structure of large scale steel is used to produce the escalator.The strength and stiffness of the truss are too large.Using the truss design,will bring a lot of steel consumption.With the increase in the number of multi-storey buildings such as shopping centers and subway stations,the production capacity of escalators is becoming larger and larger.In this paper,ANSYS simulation software is used to analyze the structure of escalator truss.And the optimal design of truss is carried out,which lays the foundation for the green manufacture and material design of truss.First of all,combined with the characteristics of truss structure,finite element model of middle section of staircase truss structure by ANSYS,according to the actual load and geometric parameters of the existing escalator truss,truss stress,strength and stiffness are analyzed.The results show that the existing truss structure design margin is too large,there is still a lot of material space.Through static analysis,reveals the truss constitutive relation between stress strain,and provide a theoretical basis for the design of truss structure section material.Secondly,the prestressing technology is introduced in the design of the truss structure.Analysis and synthesis of the stress-strain relationship of truss.That is: in the specified load for truss stress and deflection were analyzed,experimental data obtained the best tension value;by changing the truss structure and increasing the length of the rod,the internal stress of the truss is generated,and the deflection of the truss structure is analyzed under the specified load,and effectively control.Finally,the optimization analysis of the single escalator truss structure with unilateral escalator truss structure of steel volume as objective function,the maximum displacement of truss structure and the maximum stress range,optimization section parameters of escalator truss structure beam.The standard steel model for the renewal of the steel truss with the maximum approximation,analysis of truss still has enough safety coefficient.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The steel used in the original staircase truss is too large.After the replacement of the steel bar with smaller size,its strength and stiffness can still meet the specification requirements;Analysis of chord stress on the escalator truss structure: reducing the size of bottom chord bar steel,which can further reduce the consumption of steel.(2)Prestressing technology is introduced in the manufacture or installation of the escalator truss,the escalator truss structure can effectively control the deflection,the internal stress state is more ideal parameters,prestress can reduce the escalator truss beam rod steel saving.(3)The ANSYS structural finite element analysis method is used to optimize the structure of the escalator truss,the truss model updating reference optimization of a beam section parameter.Through the verification of the optimized truss strength and stiffness to meet the requirements,but also significantly reduce the amount of using steel truss escalator.
