Concrete construction quality control is the emphasis during hydropower projects construction process,especially in large-scale hydropower projects.The quality control of dam concrete construction plays a vital role to the dam safety.The traditional method of dam concrete construction quality control was mainly depended on the self-control of construction side or supervision and inspection by other organizations.However,the construction environment was getting worse and worse with the development of hydropower at plateau region in recent years.Take Yarlung Zangbo River Basin as an example,hydropower station is located mostly plateau temperate and cold temperate climate.In winter,antifreeze is a prominent problem,but in summer,large temperature difference between day and night.So temperature control and prevention of cracks are very difficult.At the same time,due to the special environment and construction conditions,workers and construction equipment cannot work properly.That further increase the difficulty of the dam concrete construction quality control,conventional construction quality control methods has been difficult to adapt to the construction of high altitude hydropower station.In order to solve the above problems and monitoring the key points of construction quality during the whole process comprehensive and efficiently,advanced concrete construction quality control and information management measures must be taken.In this paper,the development and application of dam concrete construction quality monitoring system was discussed based on the first large hydropower station-Zangmu hydropower station in Tibet area.Through the implementation of dam concrete construction process data real-time acquisition and feedback to assist the participation of all parties to timely grasp of the engineering geological conditions,site construction,engineering progress,construction quality information,to the whole process of the construction quality of the construction of a comprehensive real-time monitoring,timely detection and correction of mass bias.At the same time,provide accurate and detailed quantitative information for engineering decision makers to realize the traceability of quality information.The establishment of the participation of all parties to participate in a wide range of communication platform,to improve the quality of the project and ensure the project schedule.This paper discusses the design and application of the monitoring system of dam concrete construction quality in the hydropower station.The practical application of the research results would strengthen the quality control in the construction process,also provide the data information platform for the completion acceptance,safety appraisal and the following acceptance of the dam project.Reduce costs,save time and ensure quality,bring huge economic and social benefits.Also to promote the management idea of the project management to a great extent.
