Construction works due to its construction lasted for a long time and consume a lot of resources and energy, a large amount of construction waste and harmful gases, etc., throughout the construction process would be healthy surrounding natural environment and residents have serious negative effects. With the growing importance for environmental protection, ecological civilization, experts and scholars began to look for effective control and management measures for this process. Hoping to make all kinds of resources in the most efficient use, and through measures such that the process produces less construction waste and harmful gases as much as possible, to ensure that the surrounding natural environment is not destroyed, the normal life of the residents are not influences. This is based on the idea of building a low-carbon projects. This has a certain reference value and reference to promote the construction industry in China to carry out low-carbon development model.This paper discusses the background of low carbon content and based on the concept of building works at home and abroad based on the specific application and the lack of low carbon concept of building works, then refer to the relevant regulations and assessment is based on the concept of low-carbon technologies related to domestic and international standards, elaborated on the concept of low-carbon construction work features, content, key points and the difficulties, and then analyzes the concept of building a low-carbon-based engineering application problems and Solutions, based on the concept of low-carbon construction projects use provided reference. In the case study section of this article Splendid Yangtze River in Wuhan project as an example, further elaborated on the concept of low-carbon building works with the core idea: to minimize the adverse effects of construction activities on the surrounding environment, minimizing resource and energy consumption, the full realization construction technology for sustainable development. In the project uses a process analysis of the various branches of engineering construction project environmental factors detailed identification, obtained the main environmental pollution factors of air pollutants, soil pollution, water pollutants, radioactive and light pollution, noise pollution, solid waste, energy consumption and other environmental factors present in the list of the construction phase of the construction work, and try to establish the extent of model environmental factors influence each construction stage. Additionally, this article on the benefits and feasibility of the concept of low-carbon-based construction projects can bring demonstrated.Through the above findings, based on the concept of low-carbon building works construction projects is the future trend of development, although certain restrictions exist yet in the policy, the economy and technology, but in accordance with the national macro-planning and construction of ecological civilization, based on the concept of low-carbon construction works will occupy an increasingly important position in construction.
