Onboard equipment, which protects and controls the train by coordinating the wayside equipment, is one of the core equipment in ATC (Automatic Train Control) system. In this context which is a great developing period for interconnection, interworking and energy-saving of metro, this thesis studies deeply the interconnection interface as research point.The purpose of interconnection and interworking is able to train operating in different lines. According to this purpose, the onboard equipment should have the ability to receive and execute the command from wayside equipment as the function requirement. Thus, the fact of interconnection and interworking of onboard equipment is implementing the uniform interface.By analyzing the technology requirement of CBTC (Communication Base-on Train Control) system and function principle of onboard equipment, this thesis defined the interface between onboard equipment and wayside equipment, which includes the safety,reliability and function requirement. Based on these researches, this thesis designs the interface between onboard equipment and wayside equipment, which is an integrated interface system, includes the communication model, the structure of communication hierarchy, the communication status management and interface data definition.The interface design includes the communication module, the communication structure,the status management and interface data definition. In term of communication module, the thesis designs the communication creation should be only launch by VOBC, and use the cycle communication type and message triggering type. In term of communication structure,the thesis uses the seven-layer structre which is standard TCP/IP structure. And in order to make the structure unitively and clearly, the thesis divided the application layer into common application layer and VOBC equipment application layer and wayside equipment layer. In term of communication status management, due to the function characteristic and safety requirement of different equipments, the thesis designs the different communication status management between different wayside equipments and VOBC equipment. The communication status management includes the timeout mechanism and re-connection mechanism, and so on. Finally, in term of interface data definition, the thesis analyzes the application data according to the VOBC function requirement and wayside equipment function requirement, designs the application data definition between different wayside equipments and VOBC. By the four term of interface design, the communication between VOBC and wayside equipment form a integrated interface system.In order to verify the communication interface between VOBC and wayside equipment for interconnection and interworking, i built the hard-in-loop test platform with relation company. Until now, all types VOBC has passed the unterface type test which is the interface between VOBC and wayside equipment and most function test, and achieved better results.
