Acceleration Slip Regulation(referred to as ASR),an active safety device of the vehicle driving control system,mainly functions to prevent the wheels from slipping when starting or at quick acceleration,and to maintain the stability of vehicle control,in order to obtain the maximum driving force of the wheels in motion,ensure the running stability,reduce tire wear and engine loss,and increase effective traction.This paper took a parallel HEV as the subject and studied the dynamic traction slip regulation during its acceleration.The acceleration regulation systems of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles were compared,and HEV was found to have obvious advantages in its structure and working method:convenient traction adjustment,vehicle driving stability maintenance,and energy saving.This paper explained and analyzed the functions and characteristics of vehicle acceleration slip regulation,and conducted the matching design of the acceleration system parameters of a parallel HEV,including the designs of dynamic performance,economical efficiency,and adhesive performance,etc.The major parts of the acceleration system were selected to determine the drive system parameters and analyze the vehicle technical performance of the parallel HEV.A vehicle dynamics simulation model was established.The current road recognition algorithm and technology was analyzed and based on the identification of the optimal road slip ratio parameter,the conditions for the optimal slip ratio were determined.The Simulink model of the optimal slip ratio of the road recognition algorithm under the vehicle real-time environment was thus established.The control algorithm and control means were studied to adjust the ASR control torque and establish a dynamic traction control strategy based on negative feedback correction of slip rate.For the coordination between the energy management strategy the acceleration slip regulation strategy of parallel HEV,under the premise of energy management strategy,the paper proposed a dynamic ASR control strategy with the integration of the acceleration slip regulation strategy and the energy management control strategy.The control parameters were adopted to integrate the algorithms,the controller torque equation was deducted,the interference of the traction control system with the energy management strategy was avoided,and the target motor torque equation of the strategy integration was determined.Taking advantage of the driving system of parallel HEV and adjusting the motor torque to achieve slip regulation realized the stable power distribution of the energy management strategy and avoided the phenomenon of frequent fluctuation of the engine's output power.System simulation under the environment of MATLAB/Simulink was conducted,and the simulation results showed that in the designed ASR control strategy,the slip ratio was controlled in an optimal range so that the slip of the driving wheels was significantly inhibited,system losses were reduced,and the driving stability and steering control were improved.
