In mechanical transmission,the external meshing gear is the main form of transmission.However,the contact state of external meshing gear is a convex-convex engagement state,which will produce the large contact stress at contact point and reduce the contact strength of the gear transmission.Close contact theory is the latest development skill to structure outer meshing gear,which realized convex-concave conjugate meshing method of tooth surface configuration.However,the method and technology of constructing the tooth surface parameters of the gear tooth surface are still blanking,this article focuses on this problem,so we can calculate the stress of gear tooth.In the research,AutoCAD,ANSYS and CATIA were used.The main contents and methods of this paper are as follow:(1)With piecewise involute to structure the tooth of higher-order-close gear,and find the method to structure the high-order-close gear with piecewise involute.Which realize 4-order infinitesimal neighborhood clearance condition at meshing point,so we can accord to the structure of parameterized tooth surface methods and techniques to build the tooth profile shape of high-order-close gear in AutoCAD.(2)According to the standard involute gear tooth profile to establish the gear model.Establish the gear model of different transmission ratio in CATIA,and using the motion simulation function of CATIA to check whether interference with each other in transmission process.(3)Calculate the formula of contact stress and bending stress of the high-order-gear according to the stress calculation principle of the involute gear tooth.Analyze the neighborhood gap of high-order-gear tooth contact point and maximum contact stress,observe their difference.(4)Establish the model of high-order-close gear and involute gear in ANSYS.Analyze the stress of high-order-close gear and involute gear,compared with theoretical analysis result,and find the superiority of the high-order-close gear.The result of study shows that high-order-close gear on the contact strength and bending strength of gear tooth is better than common involute gear.The parametric method build the analysis process of design and technology of 2D/3D and finite element design method,which provides effective modeling technology and research reference for the further study of this kind of gear.
