Expressway service area is the road infrastructure which treats the vehicles?drivers and cargo service as the main service object on the expressway.Service area is an important part of the highway,as the important nodes,it's an important direction to develop the functional diversity for the development of the expressway service area.It has significant meaning for the business development of highway service area to do the research on the ring road expressway service area to expand function,and establish a set of scientific and perfect selection evaluation method.In this paper,based on the principle of reasonable distance setting of the city ring road expressway service area,analyzed the location planning of the expressway service area for different regions;On this basis,In order to coordinate with service function and demand structure in service area,A comprehensive evaluation system for the functional expansion and location planning of the service area in the ring road expressway network was proposed.By analyzing the factors which influenced the location of logistics nodes in service area,including social benefit index,economic benefit indexes and environment ecology index.According to the relevant rules,literature and the overview of the construction of a city ring road,firstly,electing the initial evaluation indexes,then screening the indicators for each primary election by DEMATEL method,which was combined with the distribution of surrounding industries,the degree of traffic convenience,etc,the index system for the evaluation of ring road expressway service area to expand logistics node location has been determined.Based on the defects and deficiencies of traditional AHP method in the scale of 1~ 9,a new scale was put forward,namely the scale of In(9/9e)?In(17/1e),the AHP method for weight assignment was improved to improve the evaluation quality.Then combining the importance degree and influence degree of the index,DEMATEL method was used to get the initial weights of the improved AHP method,for getting a more reasonable and scientific comprehensive weight,which can be used to develop the logistics node location decision.According to the theory of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,the evaluation system on the ring road expressway service area to expand the logistics nodes location has been established,evaluation process and steps have been given as well;Finally,evaluated the rationality function development in the ring road expressway service area by improved AHP-DEMATEL-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and verified the scientific and feasibility of the evaluation system.This study can provide reference for the research of the city ring road expressway service area to expand functional diversity for the transportation departments in every province and city,and provide reference for the city ring road expressway service area to achieve functional expansion site selection evaluation.
