The 13 th Five-Year plan of China brings forward new requirements for the transportation industry: by 2020, constructs a safe, convenient, efficient, green modern integrated transport system. At present, China's expressway mileage ranks first in the world, but also a substantial increase in the amount of vehicle traffic safety, road traffic safety problems have become increasingly prominent. Has become the focus of society wide attention from all circles of the society.This paper on the basis of statistical analysis of the accident rate of a certain expressway in Shandong Province, summed up the characteristics of expressway traffic accidents, mainly from the temporal and spatial characteristics of traffic accidents, the climatic distribution characteristics and morphological characteristics were studied, and based on the analysis of the influential factors of expressway traffic safety.Analysis of the heterogeneous of the regional expressway traffic safety data,using data fusion method for pretreatment, the mining process to obtain information on the data and on this basis, the establishment of a unified data mining tool evaluation standard, mainly focuses on the model selection of cluster analysis and association rules data mining two.The analysis of comparison of multiple point identification method of different expressway accidents, finally choosing the clustering algorithm in data mining of road accidents in expressway. Identify K885+200 to K928+200 as the basis of this case, the accident section by using the cumulative frequency curve method of accident prone points initially determined, re analysis by MATLAB results modified by the DBSCAN spatial clustering, further to determine the exact accidents.In this paper the expressway accidents output on the basis of the results,using the method of association rule mining to determine the accident factors, Apriori algorithm is suitable for single expressway, obtained by MATLAB to meet the minimum support and minimum confidence impact on expressway traffic safety factor.The main results of this study can provide technical support and theoretical reference for the design and management of expressway traffic safety, and also can be used as a reference for the safety management of low grade expressway.
