Nearly half a century in the past years, clay brick masonry structure has been gradually replaced by the past, clay brick is now gradually becoming waste after the removal of construction . Solid construction waste landfill treatment, the cost of a huge approach, while the construction of brick waste landfill can not be degraded all year round, resulting in a certain degree of land pollution. The extensive application of building mortar in the construction industry needs a large number of natural river sand as aggregate, and with the continuous exploitation of natural sand, the number of natural sand is declining, almost exhausted.This paper deals with the influence of the waste clay brick on the sustainable development of China's land and the economy of our country. In our country, the recycling and reuse of building materials are processed in the form of mechanical crushing, which is used to recover and recycle the granular aggregate.The physical and mechanical properties of waste clay brick aggregate were studied. The physical and mechanical properties and construction performance of recycled aggregate mortar were studied by means of using brick aggregate instead of fully graded natural sand and partly replacing some graded natural sand. A preliminary study on the feasibility of producing recycled mortar with waste clay brick aggregate with particle size less than 4.75mm.In this study, the optimum amount of brick aggregate in the recycled aggregate of brick is 50%, and the optimum dosage of water retaining thickener is 2%. The strength of recycled brick aggregate dry mortar is superior, and its freeze-thaw resistance is good. Single grading brick aggregate recycled dry mixed mortar can effectively improve the compressive strength of mortar. This study provides a reliable theoretical basis for the further study on the influence of waste clay brick about the performance of recycled building mortar.
