| Smart-Lane Detector,is a system that indicates an estimation of the car’s lane position in the main route and distinguish the main route and the relief route, required on services such as intelligent driving system, driverless car and many other applications.This research consists on making an application that indicate the car’s lane position, for the purpose of informing to the driver in which lane of the main route or the relief route is, for example if the driver wants to take an exit hi will need to change to the rightest lane of the main route and then the driver is located on the correct lane he can take the exit or relief route in a smooth and safe way.In this study, what presented is an alternative solution for the detection of lane indicating if the car is in the main or a relief lane, that does not use cameras and additional devices to the vehicle,only the driver’s phone, since the others alternative requires cameras or special sensors which require expensive calibrations and cameras of very high quality, in addition some applications that are preset are only compatible with some car models. That is why it is made the presentation of a smartphone application that avoids these inconveniences and you only need to have the application installed on the phone to have similar or even better benefits. |
