Our country is in the peak period of UHV transmission lines engineering construction.State Grid Corporation of China attaches great importance to the safety and reliability of lines operation.In UHV transmission lines,the amount of spacer dampers is huge,its main mechanical properties depend on the viscoelasticity of elastomeric components to achieve.However,the research on the using performance of this kind elastomeric components in our country is relatively backward,which makes it difficult to guarantee the material and basic properties of elastomeric components of spacer dampers.In order to ensure the quality and the using performance of elastomeric components,to reach the best performance of spacer dampers,improve the safety and reliability of UHV transmission lines,it is imperative to study the using performance and the use theory of elastomeric components of spacer dampers.The elastomeric pads of clamps and the elastomeric columns of joints,which are applied to spacer dampers of the UHV transmission lines,are different in their using performances and theoretical mechanisms.During the operation of the UHV transmission lines,the elastomeric pads of clamps use the static viscoelastic force of the elastomers to grip the conductors.The clamps and the conductors are relatively static,and rotation and longitudinal displacement of clamps will not occur.At the joints of spacer dampers,elastomers are used as damping material to consume the vibration energy of the conductors,and the damping force is generated on the conductors.The elastomeric columns of joints use the dynamic viscoelasticity of the elastomers to prevent vibration.In this paper,the mechanical properties of elastomeric pads of the clamps of spacer dampers for UHV transmission lines are studied.The stress relaxation characteristics of elastomeric pads of the clamps in the static force field are studied emphatically.The mechanical relaxation properties of elastomeric pads of the clamps are described.The testing methods of the mechanical properties of the elastomeric pads are studied.Study on the relationship between the use of spacer dampers and the torque of clamps.The torque value of the clamps is specified.The method of checking the size of elastomeric pads of the clamps according to the moment of torque is summarized.In this paper,the energy consumption level of elastomeric columns of the joints of spacer dampers for UHV transmission lines is studied.The energy dissipation level of elastomeric columns of the joints is expounded by energy consumption level test of elastomeric columns of the joints and application theory.The method of calculating energy consumption data according to the energy dissipation parameters of elastomeric columns of the joints is summarized.According to the above performance research,developed a new formula of elastomeric components of joints to achieve rapid vulcanization,with good economic benefits.Based on the research of using performances of the elastomeric pads of clamps and the elastomeric columns of joints,in accordance with the electric power standard,the relevant clauses and performance test methods of the elastomeric components are discussed in detail.The research results show that the performance indicators of the elastomeric pads of clamps and the elastomeric columns of joints should be different according to the different using performance.The above research provides the technical basis for the adjustment of the electric power standard and the establishment of the group standard of elastomeric components.
