Regarding the deterioration of environmental pollution and energy shortage in China, we have reached the consensus that the development of new energy vehicle will be China’s focus in the future for the purpose of promoting leapfrog development of the automobile industry. However, detection technology of energy consumption for hybrid vehicle had not reached in-depth study, and lacked of actual testing data, those had an effect on the right evaluation of energy consumption for hybrid vehicle.According to the standard of GB/T19754, the test was also based on the detection methods for traditional heavy vehicles and chassis dynamometer and on-board test system were both applied in this experiment. Specific details are as below:(1)The research significance and background of the study was introduced, and the present situation of electric vehicle development in China were studied based on an analysis of relevant data home and abroad.(2)Focusing on the hybrid vehicle, the thesis offers a detailed introduction of HEV, including its Classification and working mode, based on this, introduced the differences between the hybrid electric vehicle and the conventional vehicle were compared.(3)Based on the relevant standards and regulations of hybrid vehicle home and abroad, the thesis compares the domestic and foreign standards and regulations of energy consumption and emission for heavy hybrid electric vehicles, and introduces test principles and test methods of each standard.(4)According to the test procedure of GB/T 19754, the thesis introduces the test conditions and test vehicles, and makes a comparative analysis of the test data under different testing conditions with a theoretical introduction of road resistance setting.(5)Through the energy consumption and emissions tests of different control strategies based on chassis dynamometer, the thesis verifies that hybrid vehicles have better effect for energy conservation and emissions reduction compared with traditional vehicles, CCBC was more suitable for HEV.(6)The new C-WTVC of GB/T 19754 provided new test method for energy consumption of HEV.
