The main raw materials for the preparation of ethylene glycol in the world are oil and coal.According to the national conditions of our country,the method of producing ethylene glycol by coal is mainly composed of the following olefins,synthetic gas and oxalic acid esters.Hualu-hengsheng uses the oxalic acid esters method.In the synthetic process,there are many kinds of organic reactions,and the reaction products are various,the mixture is difficult to separate.Through the study on glycol alcohol properties,we determined a way of overall by-products recycling for improved preparation of antifreeze.In this paper,we prepared in line with the best condition to prepare antifreeze with the national standard.This paper is to improve the production of ethylene glycol wastewater.For the Hualu-Hengsheng process,it has a certain value in industrial application.The first preparation was alkali treatment to ensure that the color of antifreeze in line with national standards.The second preparation was distillation with specific temperature fraction,to ensure smell,boiling point,bubble tendency in line with national standards.The third preparation was adding different metal corrosion inhibitor to ensure corrosion resistance.Finally we got the antifreeze conforming to the national standard.It is possible to for the sale in the market.Through the comparison test of different optimal conditions,the best reaction condition was as follows:in 80 degree water bath,alkali(sodium hydroxide concentration is 1.5%(wt%))for five hours,atmospheric distillation for the supernatant,the intermediate product was got.Benzo triazole three 0.5%(wt%),borax 0.2%(wt%)and 3%sodium hydrogen phosphate(wt%),0.8%(wt%)sebacic acid 1%sodium benzoate(wt%)adding corrosion inhibitor,can effectively guarantee the material corrosion allowance within the state standard for the metal of market sale engine.
