The advent of ARJ21-700 aircraft,as well as the initiation of large civil aircraft project,marks transformation of country from a large aviation nation to a powerful one.And civil aircraft airworthiness certification flight is following.According to requirements from airworthiness authorities,test and evaluation of area navigation capability should be carried out for civil aircraft.How to design a flight testing plan to maximize the system performance,calculation and analysis of relevant difference,and verification of airworthiness compliance are issues that needs to be addressed urgently in flight test.This thesis develops a suit of flight testing technique and evaluating method based on analysis of the principle of area navigation,combining with relevant airworthiness terms.The main works are as follows:1.A RNAV airspace planning strategy based on ground-based navigation was advanced.Through three steps:point-by-point visibility analysis,view-shed prediction based on multiplex extrapolation,and determination of navigation update area,and with fully validated accuracy of ground-based navigation in the airspace by flight test data,the RNAV airspace of ground-based was determined for the first time.RNAV ground-based navigation flight test is accomplished by means of navigation near the local airspace,which avoids ferrying flight test to civil aviation airspace and saves resources with improved efficiency.It lays the foundation for related test subjects of subsequent projects.2.The problem of quantitative evaluation for horizontal navigation accuracy during regional navigation flight testing was solved.The generation algorithm for optimal level path of short straight line segments,turning tangentially segment and great circle route was derived,and calculation method for FTE and NSE guidance error of lateral guidance was proposed,and data handling software was programmed.3.An assessment algorithm for vertical navigation accuracy with modified horizontal deviation was proposed against the vertical navigation yaw error problem for the traditional calculation due to actual flight path and FMS ideal trajectory deviation.This method realized the vertical yaw distance calculation based on modification of horizontal deviation by calculating the projection point location and calculation of height baseline and vertical deviation.This algorithm has been verified by HIL simulation platform to effectively improve the calculating accuracy of vertical deviation,and the maximal vertical deviation was decreased from 37ft to 2.4ft.4.A flight test method of ETA and RTA,which covers cruises,climbing and descent phases of flight,was designed.By studying of internal and external factors influencing accuracy of navigation,and statistical analysis of RTA accuracy for international advanced civil aircraft,effect ratio of wind speeds for ETA are calculated in different phases of flight based on flight test data.The criteria for accuracy of ETA and RTA are given in final.
