Guangdong Province Shimentai National Nature Reserve Visitor Center Planning And Design Research

With the intensification of environmental pollution,people go to appreciate the natural scenery in the nature,enjoy the natural environment will become more and more strong,nature reserve has a unique advantage resources and ecological environment,has become one of the best choice for people to travel.In nature reserves to develop ecological tourism activities not only provide people with the natural ecological tourism environment,still can make people in the process of tour to understand and master relevant knowledge of ecology,environment,education of knowledge,improve the environmental protection consciousness.Visitor center is in the nature reserve to provide services for tourists and researchers of important place,its planning and design of reserve to strengthen publicity and education work,play a role of popular science education and ecological civilization education base has important significance.This paper mainly studies the design problem of the visitor center in nature reserve.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction.To explain the background,purpose,meaning and methods of the research;This paper introduces the present situation of domestic and foreign research.The second part is theoretical research.First,the design of the visitor center(concept,function,facilities)is described.Secondly,the principle and significance of the visitor center planning are analyzed.Finally,the specific studies the visitor center,the main content of the planning and design,mainly including the visitor centre’s location and layout,architectural design,environmental design,interior display design,etc.The third part is the case study.In Shimentai national nature reserve,Guangdong province,the visitor centre as design object,the first investigation and analysis of the current situation of the project construction background,conditions and the analysis of the local tourist resources,and then based on the results of the research theory and the characteristics of local conditions to develop a reasonable planning and design.Finally,through the above research,the main points and conclusions of the planning and design of the visitor center are made,as follows:(1)The location of the visitor center should consider safety,convenience and the feasibility of future development.It should choose the location of geological stability,flat terrain,and provide better infrastructure.It should be near the tourist’s active line or the main recreational area,where the tourist vehicle can reach.(2)The visitor centre shall be included in the overall distribution of subject construction,scientific research buildings,parking lot,furniture parts,such as landscape architecture is unfavorable and exorbitant,modelling should not be too multifarious,the exterior should reflect local characteristics,and the coordinated regional natural environment and historical culture.The exhibition design of the visitor center is a key design project.The content should include: maps of local nature reserves,sand tables and text display stations;Exhibition room of ecological,biological and habitat of the reserve;A slide or audio-visual projection room;Ecology,education science,etc.Presentation methods include graphic presentation,model presentation,interactive tool display,electronic media presentation,and broadcast studio presentation.
