Under the background of the rapid development of tourism in our country, with itsrich cultural connotation of historical and cultural scenic spot has been attracted moreand more tourists. A large number of visitors come into the historical and cultural scenicspots, historical and cultural scenic spot service facilities high demands are put forward.Traditional service facilities have been can’t meet the need of increasing the function ofthe tourists, as a representative of the tourism modern service facilities, visitor centerhas been developed. But as a new type of tourism service facilities, visitor center andthe historical and cultural scenic spots have certain contradiction. How to continue toprotect historical and cultural scenic spots of spatial characteristics as well as to expressreflection the spatial characteristics of visitor centre, constitute the thesis writingpurpose. Atlast, combined with Chinese and foreign excellent example, summarizes the historicaland cultural scenic tourist center of the general procedure, design principles and designconcrete design technique.
