Abstract/Summary:
The crankshaft is one of the most important parts of engine,which is regarded as the heart of a car engine.And the rational design of the crankshaft is the key to engine design.Also,it has critical impact on the engine’s compactness,reliability,durability and economy.The higher performances of crankshaft are demanded for pursuing higher power,higher torque and higher speed of engines,what makes the high tensile material,fatigue strength,reliability,manufacturing technology and equipment for crankshaft become the key technique which are need to be technical broke through in the current.In this paper,Combining the actual demanded of automobile engine crankshaft manufacturers,the research relevant to engine crankshaft fatigue strength is conducted,including the fatigue check in conventional design,the influence of crankshaft manufacturing parameters on strength and the simulation analysis of filet reinforcement process.The main contents of this research are as follows:1.The fatigue strength of the automobile engine crankshaft is checked in this paper.Combining with the actual demands of project,Ricardo method is used to equivalent strength checking on the risk section of crankshaft for the two engine scheme,F15 D and F15 C,which is provided by enterprise.Then the strength of crankshaft is checked according to the Goodman diagram.2.The influences of crankshaft boss process parameters to the strength is researched based on the ANSYS software.However the structure deviations are existing between the finished crankshaft and the designed by the engine designer,due to the limited of production conditions in crankshaft manufacturing.In that,the process boss and round corner parameters in production field are taken into considerations in crankshaft strength analysis by the method of finite element simulation.Then discussed the influence rules of relevant process parameters on the strength of crankshaft.The results shows that the influence of the thickness and height of the boss are more pronounced than the fillet radius.3.For the problem of crankshaft strengthening by rolling process,simulated analysis of crankshaft fillet rolling strengthening is conducted based on the ANSYS software.Fillet rolling strengthening method is one of the most important technologies for strengthening crankshaft strength,however,there is still a certain distance between theoretical analysis and practical project.Therefore,combining with the actual needs of crankshaft manufacturing enterprises,simulation and analysis for rolling strengthening process parameters are conducted by using the finite element method.The influence rules on crankshaft strength when changing rolling feed quantity and rolling pressure is discussed,then the relationship between fillet rolling strengthening process parameters and the fatigue strength of crankshaftsis obtained.Conclusions of the study are provided the necessary data and technical support for the enterprise crankshaft design and manufacturing.
