As the environment pollution from fossil energy becomes a problem in restricting the development of society unceasingly, people are constantly seeking for clean energy which could act as the replacement of common fossil fuel. As the ship demands some special characters of sustainability, stability, security, etc, nuclear power is one of the best choices to constitute power system on ship. But nuclear still makes up to a smaller proportion than others due to many reasons of technology,confidentiality, security, and so on. In order to apply the nuclear energy to marine area comprehensively, we need to take more actions to get study in nuclear power systems deeply and detailedly.In this paper, a scheme of marine nuclear power system is proposed and discussed which is proved to be feasible. The appropriate mathematical models of all the subsystems are deduced step by step and the computing method correspond to this system, based on which we built the integrated thermal systems’ analysis model of the secondary circuit system for nuclear power. By the way, a commonly used simulation platform of modular modeling named Matlab/Simulink is applied and it shows its ascendency. Depending on the simulation platform and the calculating model, various of thermodynamic parameters of all the subsystems and main equipments are acquired accurately and rapidly, by contrast with parameters of rated condition, the margin of error is less than five percent. Based on which the parameters of variable operating conditions such as ninety percent、seventy percent、fifty percent and thirty percent are calculated as well. The projects of using blow off evaporator and main steam that heat deaerator directly are proposed.Based on calculation result, the connection of all the subsystems is showed comprehensively, the thermal parameters output by the model can help us make estimation of this system. As the condition is lower, the outlet steam pressure of steam generator increases, power of electric generator increases, dryness fraction of steam turbine exhaust increases, the working pressure of main condenser is held by reduce flow of cooling water, Compared with the similar thermal system, we can confirm the feasibility of the system. System optimization scheme is proposed to improve the stability and economy of this system, as the result shows, twin-stage recycling sewage system for providing main exhaust pipe and program of main steam that throttled for deaerator heating are effective to reduce the loss of fresh water and consumption of main steam.
