The air-intake and exhaust system of the water surface ship is one of the key technologies in the application of the conventional power plant. Its overall performance is directly related to the operation of the power plant. The most important performance index of the ship air-intake and exhaust system is its flow loss, and the large and medium-sized water surface ship has the characteristics of large scale and complex structure. Therefore, the reasonable method is needed to estimate the resistance. The in view of the large ships air-intake and exhaust system were studied, through numerical simulation method,respectively, the design scheme and the corresponding ground-based experiments air-intake and exhaust system flow loss characteristics simulation calculation, this as the foundation design for total test and research of the resistance simulation device, and through the numerical simulation and the model test on the resistance simulation device performance were studied. The main works of this paper are as follows:1. The numerical simulation method of the ship air-intake and exhaust system and the method of the model reduction. The control equation,the discrete method,and the turbulence model are used to determine the flow problem of large scale complex space structure. By means of a block structured grid scheme,using the porous medium model,the grid quality and efficiency are improved.2. Air-intake system design scheme of flow loss numerical simulation. The flow field in the intake system of the 8 schemes is simulated, and the flow resistance loss of each scheme is obtained. The flow and resistance characteristics of the flow field are analyzed, and the main factors are discussed.3. The design scheme of the exhaust system, the numerical simulation of the flow loss.The flow field in the 8 schemes of ship exhaust system is simulated, and the flow characteristics of each method and the total lead and mixing of the exhaust system are analyzed. The characteristics of the resistance loss of the exhaust system are obtained, and the main influencing factors are discussed.4. The land-based test environment air-intake and exhaust system numerical simulation study of flow loss. In this model, the characteristics of each flow loss in different working conditions are obtained by the numerical simulation of land-based air-intake and exhaust system.5. Resistance simulation device design and performance simulation study. According to the need to simulate the resistance loss of state design a throttle plate resistance of pipeline simulation device, to meet the land-based air-intake and exhaust system test conditions required. The device has 4 rotating throttle plates, and the flow loss of different working conditions can be realized by controlling the different combinations of different combinations of different conditions. On the one hand, the accuracy of the resistance simulation device was obtained by comparing with the resistance similarity. On the other hand, the numerical simulation results were verified by the model test.
