The reactor may be in a abnormal or malfunction state .If the operator can't find problems and take effective measures timely,it would be a serious safety risk for nuclear power plants. In order to ensure the reliability,safety and economy of core,it is essential to research the core safety on-line analysis system,which role is monitor the real-time safety status of core.According to the three basic principles of reactor safety,the performance parameters for core safety are identified accurately,and on-line analysis models are established. By using three-dimensional and two-group neutron diffusion model with six group delayed neutron,three-dimensional power distribution can be obtained.A wide variety of means are taken to save the neutron diffusion model. Core is divided into many nodes with same shapes, according to the requirements of the calculation and the arrangements of the fuel assemblies; The fitting methods are added to the cross section calculation; Single channel model is used to calculate core thermal hydraulic parameters. Then,performance analysis model is established,and the core safety monitoring system is completed at the same time.In order to observe and analyze the changes of core safety parameters, the paper designs a graphical user interface, according to the function of the nuclear power plant operation support system. Designing HMI consists of two parts, namely the design of the screen and the establishment of data communication modes. On the function,the screen includes running state monitoring and fault monitoring and diagnosis, abnormal alarm, operation guidance,history information query; On the structure,the screen has been divided into three main areas: menu area, input and output area and message area; On the color choice, the entire interface is mainly used with cool colors; On the information display, the display forms are decides by the information, and the popular forms are flow charts, trend charts,data sheet, and text. As for the data communication modes' establishment, SQL data manager is used as the data communication interface of InTouch software. The SQL data manager can build the communication modes between HMI and SQL SERVER 2008 database.Reactor power down process and the accident that control rod drop to the bottom of the reactor core are used as examples to test the core safety on-line analysis system. The results showed that analysis method of this system is reasonable, and the system can meet real-time requirements.In addition to the core monitoring, the core safety on-line analysis system can be used as online testing system,and provides reference for the design of the reactor.
