Based on the lightweight design concept,this paper regards luggage rack for train-set as the research and a new structure of magnesium alloy rack is proposed after optimizing its various properties and applications.When the structure and material are analyzed,an optimized model is presented.According to related standards on load condition,a FEA is conducted to analyze the theoretical dynamic and static load.Finally,a load test is conducted to verify the feasibility on structure and function.The research background and significance are firstly presented in this thesis,the development history and research status are summarized as well,and the application of magnesium alloys is analyzed,the main research contents are put forward.The basic structure of the rack is mainly introduced and It is concluded that the mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy accurate parameters,by analyzing the tensile properties of magnesium alloy die casting and extrusion profiles,the tensile properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy profiles and AA6005-TA profiles,AZ31 magnesium alloy profile bending strength and impact toughness,which provides truly and reliable basic data for finite element analysis in later chapter.At the same time,by using the method of control variables on the main parts of the rack according to the different structures and materials,analysis and comparison on the results of stress and displacement of various factors on the deformation are conducted,which lays a foundation for the establishment of new structure rack model.According to the further analysis of the structure and material selection,and combined with the load conditions of the rack when using,a new rack structure model in the framework of magnesium alloys is proposed on the basis of the existing rack.After optimizing the model structure scheme,rectification opinions are put forward,and then make a reasonable choice on these opinions,the optimized model of magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy joint application is expounded.At the same time,the finite element method is used to modeling and analysis of the static strength of the new rack structure,modal,shock and random vibration.The basis of the FEA,rack sample is manufactured,and the dynamic and static load test are carried on to analyses its under static load bearing and deformation response ability,and the appearance and function after the shock and vibration under the load.Finally,the appearance and function of the new magnesium alloy luggage rack are proved to meet the design requirements.
