With the scientific progress and social development,now what people concerned about refrigerants is not only the cooling performance,but also put forward higher environmental requirements,environmental performance has become a hard indicator of refrigerant.At present,R134 a is widely used in automotive air conditioner.Although it does not destroy the ozone layer,but it has negative impact on the Global Warming,its Global Warming Potential(GWP)is up to1300.R134 a is considered as a transitional alternative refrigerant.Domestic and foreign refrigeration industryis actively researchingnew refrigerant which has excellent environmental performance and cycle performance to replace R134 a in automotive air conditioner.In this paper,three new mixture refrigerants R290/R13I1,R1270/R13I1 and RE170/R134 a were chosen as the alternative to R134 a according to their environmental performance,thermodynamic performance and theoretical cycle performance.And their mass ratio were determined at 60%/40%,60%/40%,90%/10%,according to how their performance parameters change with mass ratio.The three new mixture refrigerants were named RN01,RN02 and RN03 in this paper.The thermodynamic cycle model of automotive air conditioner was built,and then reserched cycle performance of R134 a RN01,RN02 and RN03 by using MATLAB to simulatethe thermodynamic cycle of automotive air conditioner.The feasibility of RN01,RN02 and RN03 substitute R134 a in automotive air conditioner was reserched based on simulation results,and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of RN01,RN02,RN03.In order to verify the cycle performance of new mixture refrigerants,R134 a and new mixture refrigerants were poured into a same experimental unit separately in the the Enthalpy Different Laboratory,and testedtheir cycle performance under same working conditions.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the environmental performance,thermodynamic properties and cycle performance of RN01 and RN03 are excellent,they have the potential to replace R134 a which is used in automobile airconditioner.
