With the promotion of unattended substation mode and the construction of smart grid,substation inspection technology is gradually developing towards the intelligent direction.This paper is based on the field investigation and analysis of the domestic and foreign research dynamic,focusing on the requirements of the substation equipment inspection and the design of substation intelligent inspection plan,completes the substation inspection task.In this paper,we analysis the general requirements of 500 kV substation inspection and give the different inspection requirements and inspection key points for different equipment.According to the actual needs and difficulties of a northern open 500 kV substation,analyzes the substation inspection period,and inspection requirements and inspection standard template.Substation intelligent inspection robot related technologies are introduced,including the basic requirements,functional realization,technical support and market applications.And focus on the analysis of hardware and software technology for substation patrol robot navigation and path planning,PTZ control,infrared temperature measurement.In this paper,D substation,a north open type 500 kV substation as an example,after a comparison of the inspection function of substation intelligent inspection robot and the actual needs of D substation,we design the intelligent substation inspection program,establish the system architecture of intelligent inspection system,drawing the station equipment layout,planning the tour route map,analyze the actual situation of station equipment,design the parking spot.According to the station inspection cycle requirements,generate inspection tasks,and the design scheme is put into the actual operation.Finally,according to the problems in the operation of the scheme,the four methods are improved and added.The improved scheme is verified by the actual operation.The operation situation shows that the intelligent inspection scheme designed for D substation is operating well,which can detect faults timely and correctly,and meet the inspection requirements.
