Modern power systems are becoming more and more larger and intelligent,which have extra high voltage,longer distance.At the same time,due to large scale clean energy,such as wind energy and solar energy,access to the power system let the power systems become futher complicated.This not only makes the control of power system become more difficult,but also has the negative impact on the stability of the power system..Scholars from various countries have conducted in-depth research to find the best solution to slove this question.The double-axis excitation generator is proposed at this time,The double-axis excitation generator is a new type of generator with high stability.Furthermore,it can also run on the depth of phase state which at the same time can absorbing a large number of reactive power;And the double-axis excitation generator can effectively compensate for normal generator lack of the ability of leading phase operation.Along with the development of the double-axis excitation generator which provides a new way to solve the transmission system stability due to continuous surplus of reactive power.This thesis analyzes the operation principle of double-axis excitation generator,and derive the mathematical model in dq0 coordinates;At the same time,rely on the mathematical model established the general model in Simulink,and the simulation of double-axis excitation generator in the steady state of the power angle characteristic curve.This paper introduce the excitation control strategy and principle of double-axis excitation generator dual channel excitation control of generator;The double-axis excitation generator is usually in biaxial d axis uniaxial excitation conditions,research the simulation after a system failure,the influence of power angle when adding the q axis uniaxial excitation,which shows that the generator has a high stabilizing effect in the transient when the system occurs faults.Finally,we the analyze the regulation effect of double-axis excitation is analyzed by phasor diagram.
