| The scale of power grid is more and more large,and inter-regional networking is more and more closely,resulting in serious consequence after fault.Therefore,the power grid fault diagnosis system needs to have better accuracy and reliability.In order to avoid the error and resisting action of the switch and the relay protection,this paper develops a power grid fault diagnosis system based on the measured data of synchronized phasor measurement unit(PMU)in wide area monitoring system(WAMS).The following work is done in this paper: Starting from the characteristics of PMU data,according to the change of the electrical parameters before and after the fault,this paper brings forward the method of starting the fault diagnosis,determining the fault equipment and analyzing the fault type based on PMU data.It is realized that obtaining a diagnosis result including occurrence time,fault equipment,fault type and fault phase only based on PMU data;Using the Visual C++6.0 software,a power grid fault diagnosis system is developed based on the PMU data.It consists of three modules: fault initiation,fault location and fault type analysis.Programming logic is clear,and the process is complete.Moreover,taking the IEEE 9 nodes standard system as an example,the process of fault diagnosis and analysis of the system is simulated.Taking a fault in a certain actual power grid as an example,the power grid fault diagnosis system based on PMU data is tested.The test results verify the correct of the fault diagnosis function of this system. |
